Vermont Public's 2026 general election debates
Vermont Public is hosting the following debates and candidate interviews for federal and statewide races:
- Lieutenant Governor: Tuesday, Oct. 6 at 12 p.m. Watch or listen to the debate, and see the full transcript here.
- U.S. House: Thursday, Oct. 8 at 12 p.m. Watch or listen to the debate, and see the full transcript here.
- Governor: Wednesday, Oct. 21 at 7 p.m. Broadcast live on Vermont Public’s radio frequencies, main TV channel, streams and YouTube channel at 7 p.m.; rebroadcast on Thursday, Oct. 22 on Vermont Public’s main radio station at noon and main TV channel at 4:30 p.m.
- Hear pre-recorded interviews with candidates for secretary of state and attorney general. Interviews with treasurer and auditor candidates will air on Vermont Edition in October.
